Novaf collaborates with the program Hidro-sport 2011 at the Puerto de Santa María
Novaf and La Gaviota Association has adopted an agreement in order to collaborate, and let the Association members test the amphibious chairs and the new Novaf products.
Last 13th of July took place the inauguration of the 7th program Hidro-sport program at the Valdelagrana Beach Accessible Point, which is organised by La Gaviota Association thanks to the collaboration and economic participation of the City Council, the Social Fund of Caja Madrid and sponsors as Novaf and Decathlon.
This Hidro-sport program has been able to be launched one additional year at the Valdelagrana Beach in the Port of Santa María. This hydrotherapy program which is designed for people with reduced mobility problems, started the 21st of June and it will finish by the 31ts of August, the schedule is from 10 to 15 h. from Monday to Friday and it is developed by a team qualified professionals in Physiotherapy and volunteers.
Novaf has participated actively in this program through an informal agreement with the Portuense Association of Physical Disable People “La Gaviota”. With this agreement the Hidro-sport program users will test and enjoy the new products of Novaf: the amphibious chair for children Oceanic Baby, the adult’s amphibious chair Oceanic and the specially adapted deckchair for disable people Oceanic Sun.
As every year, the Association has received economic support from the Social Funds of Caja Madrid, and the City Council Treasury. Furthermore, the Red Cross Association collaborates doing the transfer of the users from their homes to this accessible point at the beach. .
To get registered at this program you just have to do it at the La Gaviota head office, and everybody can participate at it, as user or volunteer. So let’s participate!
